A message from the Headteacher

Might I welcome all browsers and more serious enquirers to the Leon School and Sports College website.

Every secondary school will say it is unique. We certainly are!

The facts are easily presented:

• An 11-19 Community School of c.800 students.
• A Specialist Sports College since 1998.
• We are located in Bletchley, South Milton Keynes and serve the Eaton Manor Ward, a mixed urban catchment.

The culture and spirit of Leon is harder to capture in words:

• Leon has Sports Mark Gold, Arts Mark Gold and is a three times Investor in People. These awards reflect school strengths.
• Academically, we meet our national and local targets and continually seek a higher student achievement.
• We are a long standing extended school that makes a significant community impact. We are fully inclusive in action and philosophy.
  

Our students are our strength; schools are people (both younger and older) not bricks and facilities – although we are well blessed in the latter. We listen actively to our learners and aspire to be a better institution, year on year.
