Leon Library holds a collection of public library stock. If you have a public library card you can request and reserve resources from other branches. The books will then be sent to Leon School Library for you to collect. You can do this yourself at www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/libraries and clicking on 'Catalogue' or you can ask a member of library staff at Leon school. |
I like this book because it is about a boy who lives at home and has an ambition to travel the world with his dog Stella Artios, but suddenly because the dog hasn’t got his safety harness on they go overboard. He tries to reach for Stella but they both fall into the deep blue ocean. Then he wakes up and realises that he has been washed aboard onto an island. He looks around and he sees Stella. They are both safe and then suddenly one morning he wakes up and finds fruit and vegetables surrounding him. Is there something living with me? I think you should read this book because it is about adventures and being stranded on a desert island and not knowing where you are. It makes you think about what you would do if you were on a desert island - Hayden |
I enjoyed reading this book because it gives you a lot of information on stuff that you would like to know. For example, lots of people ask bizarre questions like ‘Why is poo brown?’ & ‘Why is pee yellow?’
Any question that you would like to know, this fun book will tell you it. And there would be no chance in you not being able to understand the answers, because it explains them very clearly. This Book’s Age Group is mainly aimed at Older Children, starting from around 11 to about 16. But even if you are an adult, I personally think that you would also enjoy reading this book -Francesca |
Negima Neo by Takuya Fujima is a spin off of the Negima Magister Negi Magi. This is brilliantly funny series of books that are all well written, even though they are spin offs. I think that these books are best suited for 13-16 year olds, because some parts of the stories can be a bit rude so it’s not suitable for younger people. It’s about a 10 year old wizard that becomes a teacher in Japan. He gets a class of 14 year old girls, all with secret abilities and powers and they go through many challenges. But, the biggest challenge for him is serving his time there.-Pierina |
Do you like fairies? When you think of fairies, you think of pink flying people, right?…BUT,
in this book they’re armed and will do whatever it takes not to be found out.
ARTEMIS FOWL IS A NOTORIUS CRIME LORD, BUT HE’S 12 YEARS OLD AND THE FAIRIES DON’T LIKE HIM.
WILL HE SPELL CERTAIN DOOM FOR THE FAIRIES OR WILL THE FAIRIES FIGHT BACK!? |
